ABOUT REBECCA LEE

Rebecca Lee is an actor, comedian, and writer based in Los Angeles. She has trained at various institutions including Atlantic Acting School in New York City and the Baron Brown Meisner Studio in Los Angeles. Her credits span both stage and screen, including the Los Angeles premiere of Mike Bartlett’s An Intervention, the CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Miranda July's Kajillionaire, and Comedy Central's Out of Office.

Rebecca  is a board member at The Shared Experience Studio, a live venue, production company, and comedy training center where she regularly performs with various improv teams. Prior to her work at SES, she produced and performed in Holy Shit Improv and From Your TV to UCB. â€‹

Rebecca is also a writer and producer having the latest short film she produced, Beginner's Luck, starring Matthew Gray Gubler, Lauren Lapkus, Mary Holland, Ego Nwodim, herself, and others, win various awards on the festival circuit including the Grand Prize at the 2020 Hollywood Comedy Shorts Film Festival and the Audience Award at the Chicago Comedy Film Festival 2020. She was a researcher and writer's assistant for Fox’s New Year’s Eve Toast & Roast 2022 and penned several short films, including Christine and Trish, I Messed Up, Depression and Me, and Dropped Call.

She previously produced and hosted a podcast called, How the Fuck Did You...?, exploring mental health topics. Season one focused on confidence, and season two on resilience, featuring guests like Ego Nwodim, Rachel Bloom, Shelley Hennig, and Ashley Johnson.

 

No matter the medium, Rebecca approaches her work as an artist above all, dedicated to creating stories that hold a mirror up to society with the goal of fostering connection, reflection, and growth. She can also be pretty funny when she isn’t waxing poetic for a website bio.
